What I have learned about geography so faris: Geography is the science of place. It is the study of the surface of the earth location and distribution of its physical and cultural features, the areal patterns or places that they form. The mountains, plataeus, lakes, valleys, rivers, oceans, islands etc all combined in the earth equal the study of georaphy (the earths surface). The activity of humans also effect the geography of the earth therefore making incremental changes to earths land features.
Physical Geography a branch of science is the study of the earths surface. It is the study of earths landforms climate’s as well as soil. It also is the study of the sun which is under the category seasons and the moon which is under the category of tides. It is also the study of planets solarsystems etc as well as the study of mapmaking and navigation.
Human Geography the other branch of science is the study of the relationship toward the environment from humans. Sometimes humans adapting to the world relate in construction and sometimes change the geographical things in the environment. The subtopics that Human Geography is split up to are economical geography, polotical geography, social geography enviromental perception, management, geographical cartography, geographic information systems and geographic military. Historical geography is the study of the past and attempts to trace the past cultures and evolution.
